Изучение морфологических особенностей пуповины и выявление каких-либо патологических её состояний в значительной степени может помочь в своевременной диагностике внутриутробного состояния плода, а также в формировании перинатальных исходов.

Ключевые слова: пуповина, Вартонов студень, пуповинный кровоток, обвитие пуповины, допплерометрия в пупочных сосудах.
