Поперечно-связанный сверхвысокомолекулярный полиэтилен – перспективный материал в эндопротезировании суставов

Обзорная статья посвящена анализу использования в эндопротезировании суставов нового перспективного износостойкого материала – поперечно-связанного сверхвысокомолекулярного полиэтилена (СВМПЭ). Возрастающее число операций замены эндопротезов, необходимость внедрения эндопротезирования у молодых, трудоспособных лиц делают всё более актуальным совершенствование дизайна эндопротезов, в частности – внедрение износостойких материалов. Авторами приводятся исторические аспекты создания и усовершенствования поперечносвязанного СВМПЭ, кратко и в доступной форме рассматриваются некоторые технические детали, позволяющие понять преимущества и недостатки разных модификаций. На основании рассмотрения значительного числа литературных источников, даётся критический анализ клинического применения первого поколения поперечно-связанного СВМПЭ, обосновывается необходимость широкого внедрения в клиническую практику эндопротезов, имеющих в узле трения усовершенствованное, второе поколение этого перспективного материала.
