SOMATIC AND GYNECOLOGICAL STATUS OF REPRODUCTIVE-AGE OF WOMEN WITH BENIGN TUMORS AND TUMOR-LIKE FORMATIONS OF THE OVARIES

Objective: To study somatic and gynecological status of women with benign ovarian tumors and tumor-like ovary formations.

Methods: Examined 321 women with benign ovarian tumors and tumor-like ovary formations. The physical examination encompassed traditional clinical and laboratory tests, as well as endoscopic and instrumental methods of investigation.

Results: It is established that in the group of patients with benign ovarian tumors the obesity is 3 times more and thyroid disease is 7.3 diagnosed more often than women in the control group.The clinical characteristics of patients with benign ovarian tumors and tumor-like ovary formations showed, that the most frequent manifestation of the disease were: mild pain in the lower abdomen or lower back, different types of menstrual cycle, infertility. For these patients were characterized by: frequent infant infections, infectious and extragenital diseases, burdened obstetro-gynecological anamnesis.

Conclusion: The risk of developing ovarian tumors are high in women with chronic inflammatory processes of the genital organs, menstrual dysfunctions, hyperplastic processes of endometrium and myometrium, and those who underwent surgical interventions in the pelvis. Women of this category require careful monitoring due to being at risk of developing ovarian formations.
