The relevance of this study stems from the lack of systematic information regarding the current surgical strategies available for treating late stages of cervical cancer (CC). The study aims to address surgical intervention issues associated with common stages of this disease in Uzbekistan. The article presents a detailed analysis of the results from retrospective studies to identify the advantages and limitations of various treatment approaches.Emphasis is placed on the importance of postoperative care and rehabilitation, as these factors significantly influence the final treatment outcomes and the quality of life for patients. It is highlighted that successful treatment of CC requires a comprehensive understanding of the unique characteristics of each case and an adjustment of therapy to meet the patient's specific needs. The search for relevant literature was conducted using the PubMed, Google Scholar, and Cochrane Library databases. The keywords utilized included surgical treatment of cervical cancer, surgery for advanced cervical cancer, cervical cancer in Uzbekistan, palliative surgery for cervical cancer, palliative pelvic exenteration, radical treatment of cervical cancer, and cervical cancer in Central Asia. The search covered publications from 1990 to 2020. Ultimately, 1,267 potential publications were identified for this review. Articles were excluded for the following reasons: presence of only an abstract without a main text, absence of both an abstract and main text, use of alternative medicine methods for treatment or diagnosis, conducting pilot studies, inconsistency between the article content and the keywords, and animal studies. Consequently, 846 articles were excluded, leaving 421 publications for analysis. After further review, the full text was assessed for 250 articles, of which 33 were included in the final publication.

Keywords: Cervical cancer, palliative care, surgical treatment, hysterectomy, tumor therapy, radical interventions.
