Use of preserving organs surgery for patients with a growing critical ischemia in diabetic foot with different necrotic wounds
In this paper we analyzed the surgical treatment of 506 patients with various purulent complications of diabetes.
The results showed high efficacy of shunt operations, such as femoral-tibial autovenous bypass surgery, which carried out in 24 cases. The effectiveness of stimulation of collateral blood flow was confirmed by catheterization of inferior epigastric artery.
The data obtained suggest that reconstructive vascular surgeries prevents high amputation of the lower extremities, promote TO rapid healing of ulcers of the lower extremities, which in turn leads to the prolongation of active life of patients with diabetes and to improve their quality of life.
