Clinical management of traumatic intracranial hematoma in children with the position of evidence-based medicine
During 2005- 2010 years 98 children with traumatic intracranial hematomas underwent to treatment. From these, 46 (46,9%) patients received conservative treatment and the criteria were: hematoma volume, the degree of dislocation of medial brain’ structures, the general condition of the patient. The results of treatment were noted by the control CT scan. In 27 (58,7%) showed recovery, moderate disability - in 16 (34,8%), crude disability - in 3 (6,5%) patients. Deaths were not observed.
