Coinfection with HIV and parenteral viral hepatitis in drug addicts
The actuality of studying the clinical and pathological features of the liver in simultaneous currency of HIV - infection and parenteral viral hepatitis (HBV / HCV) associated to their epidemiological growth of drug addicts, who over the last decade has increased by more than 14 times, in 75% of cases observed the presence of the co-infection, which in turn enhances the development of pathological processes and worsens the disease prognosis of patients with drug addicts.
A combination of different types of alterations in the HBV / HCV in HIV-infection and drug abuse manifests a variety of degenerative changes of the liver parenchyma, as well as inflammatory and regenerative changes.
