Hygienic evaluation of working conditions in various plants of aluminum production and impact of harmful factors on mucosa of the upper respiratory tract
In the article presented the results of investigations 500 workers of main plants of Tajik Aluminum Factory. Peculiarities of hygienic assessment of working conditions and influence of unfavorable environment factors on the mucosa of the upper respiratory tract were revealed. The study indicated pathology of the upper respiratory system in 400 (80%) of workers, chronic subatrophic pharyngitis was diagnosed in 100 (20%) patients, chronic tonsillitis - in 85 (17%), chronic subatrophic rhinitis - in 100 (20%), laryngitis – in 95 (19%), in 20 (4%) - sinusitis. The finding testify that feature of these lesions was impurity of large amounts of dust in the crusts and on nasal mucosa, pharynx, larynx, which indicate a high dust of working places.
