Optimization of modern methods of diagnosis and treatment of acute destructive pancreatitis

Authors presented the study of clinical experience of diagnosis and treatment various forms of acute destructive pancreatitis in 89 patients. The basic method of diagnostics the various forms of acute destructive pancreatitis is a non-invasive techniques such as ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging. For blocking the secretion of pancreas in all patients before and postoperative period is prescribed bolus of drug «Sandostatin» (firm «Novartis», Switzerland). Abdominal and omental bursa cavities are sanitated with a solution of 0,5% betadine (the company «Aegis», Hungary). The average duration of treatment the patients with destructive forms of acute pancreatitis decreased from 51,7±3,4 to 43,9±2,1 days. In 5 (5,6%) patients developed postoperative pleuritis, in 4 (4,4%) patients pneumonia is diagnosed. Bleeding developed in 4-7 days after surgery in 3 (3,3%) cases that stopped by conservative measures. The formation of external pancreatic fistula in 5 (5,6%) cases closed after conservative measures. Lethal outcomes were reported in 4 (4,4%) patients were the cause of increasing enzymatic intoxication and multiple organ failure.
