The results of treatment 72 patients with acute strangulated intestinal obstruction were presented in article. According toquality of intensive postoperative therapy of reperfusion syndrome the patients were divided into 2 groups. In the main group (n = 38) in complex intensive therapy of reperfusion syndrome was included antihypoxidant and antioxidant - Reamberine in postoperative period. The control group (n = 34) received traditional intensive treatment.

The results showed a significant reduction of pulmonary complications and duration of artificial pulmonary ventilation in postoperative period in main group patients compared to the control group. Inclusion of Reamberine in the reperfusion period in main patients group has led to increasing of basic antioxidant cells - restored glutathione (3.15 ± 0.26 mmol/g), and decreasing of malondialdehyde level (6.15 ± 0.90 nmol/g). Also reduction of postoperative complications and mortality by 12.4% in main group in compare with 7.2% in control group was observed.

Keywords: acute strangulated intestinal obstruction, reperfusion syndrome, antioxidant and antihypoxic therapy, reamberine.
