Reproductive health of women with metabolic syndrome

In a review article the modern aspects of metabolic syndrome and the relationship between its components were presented. The mechanisms of carbohydrate and lipid metabolism sdisorders, and hormonal balance and oxidant system were studied. The findings of impact this disease on the women’s reproductive health of different age groups were shown. The pathogenesis of reproductive system disorders in infertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, hyperplastic uterus was presented. Set out the new approaches and stages of treatment in patients with disorders of reproductive function in metabolic syndrome and ways of their pevention.
