Results of situational analysis of dental caries prevalence and intensity in patients with halitosis

A structural assessment of dental caries intensity and its structural components in dental patients with different levels of halitosis was conducted. Comparison of the findings obtained in patients suffering from halitosis with the results of dental caries intensity in people without this diseases showed a significant increase of studied elements in the structure of dental caries intensity.
Increase of complicated caries being treated in patients with halitosis oral condition, was 0,78 ± 0,04 units per one examined against the control group. Increase of extracted teeth value in main group was 0,85 ± 0,04 units of studied element per one surveyed patients.
