First results of laparoscopic appendectomy in children in Republic of Tajikistan

The article summarizes the first results of laparoscopic treatment of acute appendicitis in 70 children.
In comparative evaluation of laparoscopic and traditional appendectomy shown conclusive advantages of endoscopic procedures: a smooth postoperative course, reducing the number of complications in 3 times, the frequency of acute adhesive intestinal obstruction – in 4 times, the number of infiltrates and abscesses in abdominal cavity – in 2 times, length of hospital stay patients decreased in 2 times.
