Based on ultrasound diagnosis and study of morphological changes in the venous wall after impacting laser energy proved the best method of surgical treatment. Studies of short-term and long-term results of using minimally invasive techniques by comparison by conventional phlebectomy have shown that use of EVLT combined with elements of traditional surgery and sclerotherapy is the least traumatic way of therapy and provides not only radicality of treatment, but also is accompanied by a smaller number of postoperative complications and earlier rehabilitation of patients after surgery
