Incidence of scabies at children’s contingent in Tajikistan

Given the estimation of children’s role until 14 years in epidemiological process for scabies in the country and its administrative regions for ten years (2002 to 2011).
The incidence of children’s contingent since 2006 exceeded the incidence of the adults, and it is indicating the leading role of children in the epidemiology of scabies. The intensive index (II) of incidence in adults over the study period ranged from 17.6 to 42.0, and for the children - from 34.8 to 73.0. Children’s intensive index in Dushanbe for seven years has been higher than the republican for 1.6 (2004) - 4.8 (2010) times (p <0,05). In the Districts of Republican Subordination intensive index was higher than the republican for 1.5 (2005, 2006 years) and 2.6 (2002 2003gg.) times (p <0,05). In Sughd, Khatlon and Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Province intensive index in children during 7 - 10 years was significantly lower than the republican. In addition, in Khatlon District intensive index of scabies always been lower than in adults.
