Problems of surgical treatment keloid cicatrices of skin

In a review article is analyzed the existing methods for the surgical treatment of keloid cicatrices of skin, the advantages and disadvantages of various types of surgical treatment, blunder in the choice of methods of correction , characteristics used sewing materials. Despite a variety of proposed methods of surgical treatment of keloid cicatrices of skin, they are not always achieved their complete disappearance, and relapses are recorded in 80-100 % of cases. Preoperative preparation should take into account the shape, size, location and dysfunction in the area of keloid scar. In planning of keloids’ surgical treatment should provide indications for surgical intervention, the timing of its implementation and the correct choice of plastics.
