Medical and social factors in elaboration of contingent sickly girls and boys - students of medical university

Results are based on a comparative analysis of two medical and social characteristics: of students occasionally ill by «colds» diseases (n=633) and often (3 or more times per year) ill (OI) byrespiratory disease (n=155).

From 24 factors affecting the number of OIstudents young male with more or less force have only 15. Among them were leading: the neglect of walking, walking outdoors on weekdays – η2 - 8,82%, frequent use of antibiotics (self-treatment) – η2 - 8,75%, frequent stress – η2 - 6,83%, residence – η2 - 6,10%, inadequate intake of fruit – η2 - 4,98%. Significant effect forces the other nine factors less than 4.0%.

The study identified gender differences in features influences of some medical and social factors on the formation of contingents OI girls and boys. Thus, 15 of the 24 factors have a significant impact on number of OI female students, among them: poor living conditions – η2 - 9,51%, chronic diseases before entering university – η2 - 9,15%, type of housing – η2 – 7,59%, inadequate intake of protein foods – η2 - 7,41%, lack of sleep – η2 - 7,32%, residence – η2 - 6,96%, lack of outdoor exercise at the weekend – η2 - 5,53%, financial problem – η2 - 5,42%.
