Peculiarities of rosacea manifestation with concomitant chronic opisthorchosis

The article presents data and results of investigations 15 patients with rosacea combined with chronic opisthorchosis (group 1) and 15 patients with rosacea without opisthorhosis (group 2).

In group 1, were predominantedpatients with papulopustularsubtypeof rosacea – 11 (73,3%), only 3 (25,3%) patients had erythematous-telangiectasiatic and 1 (6,6%) patients – rhinophyma. In the 2nd group erythematous-telangiectasiaticsubtypeof rosacea was 9 (60%) patients, with papulopustular – 6 (40%) patients.

Found that dissatisfaction with the quality of life in patients with rosacea combined with chronic opisthorchiasis was significantly higher than in patients with only rosacea (p<0,05).

The index scale diagnostic assessment of rosacea in patients from group 1was 1,1 times higher (11,4 points) than in patients from group 2 (9,2 points).

More severe skin process of rosacea in combination with chronic opisthorchosis resulted in a reduction of dermatological index quality of life.
