Treatment of chronic opisthorchiasis in patients with rosacea

The article presents the results of de-worming in 47 patients with rosacea combined with chronic opisthorchiasis.
Combination of anthelmintic drug «Praziquantel» with a biologically active food supplement «Gelmisid» allowed to reduce the dose of highly toxic Praziquantelin three times and treat patients with rosacea without side effects from the gastrointestinal tract and skin. High-performance deworming (n=40; 85,1%) permit to achieve prolonged remission (n=40; 85,1%) and relapse rate reduction to 1 per 1,5 years (n=7; 14,8%) with normalization of direct bilirubin. I mprovementof skin process, decreasing of index scale diagnostic assessment of rosacea in 10 timeswas demonstratedclinically.
