Treatment of incomplete internal rectal fistula

The paper presents the analysis of surgical treatment 143 patients with incomplete internalrectal fistulas, which were divided into control and basic groups. In the main group (50,3%; n=72) operations were performed using a two-component fibrin glue «Tissukol Kit» and modified method of segmental proctoplasty; in the control group (n=71; 49,7%) patients were operated by conventional means.
Therefore, by using the foregoing techniques in the study group fistula recurrence occurred only in 1 (1,4%) patient, and anal sphincter failureI grade – in 2 (2,8%); in control group – fistula recurrence was in 7 (9,9%) patients, and anal incontinence grade I-II – in 9 (12,7%).
