Basic forms of clinical manifestations of nosocomial infection in patients with urolithiasis in the postoperative period

The results of study the level and nosological forms of clinical manifestations of nosocomial infection in patients with urolithiasis in the postoperative period are presented in article. The study is based on the results of comprehensive studies conducted in 122 patients with nosocomial urinary tract infections identified in 823 patients withurolithiasis treated by various methods.
Conducted research has identified several clinical manifestations of nosocomial infections, which are: acute pyelonephritis – 55,7%, acute cystitis – 19,7% and acute purulent urethritis - 8.2%. As well as the risk of nosocomial infections in patients withurolithiasis depends on the complexity of the surgery, the severity of the underlying disease, the duration of the operation, the patient’s age, co-morbidities, such as diabetes.
