Currency of hypertension in middle aged men

In the article retrospectively studied the frequency of risk factors associated cardiovascular disease (CVD) in 781 men of different ages with arterial hypertension. The outcomes of hyperten-sion at traditional and controlled therapy, highlighting the features of hypertension in the age group up to 60 years of age (young and middle age) has seen.

It has beennoted that controlled treatment of hypertension in patients under 60 years used much less frequently, although it noted a higher efficiency than traditional in all age groups.

When analyzing the results highlighted the following alarming data for men under 60 years with hypertension: a higher rate of bad habits and their combination (p<0,05) accompanied by fre-quent aortic lesion (58,7%), unstable angina (71,9% of the totalnumber of angina pectoriscases), newly diagnosed chronic heart failure in 25,3%, about the same frequency of myocardial infarc-tion and the absence of differences in the frequency of death when compared with a group of men over 60 years with AH.
