This article describes the changes in antioxidant protection of the child and lipid peroxidation (LPO) in 25 children with different types of vegetative-vascular dystonia.

Distress of the antioxidant system in comparison with healthy children is revealed. In children with sympathetic-tonic type of vegetative-vascular dystonia indices were 11,17±2,04 mmol / l in younger age groups and 11,09 ± 2,02 - in older, compared to the same age group with vagotonic and mixed types are lower, respectively (11,43±1,04 mmol / l and 11,32±1,01) and (11,69 ± 3,01 mmol / l and 11,52 ± 1,42). The findings testify about marked disorders of lipid peroxidation in children with vegetativevascular dystonia.

Keywords: vegetative-vascular dystonia, antioxidant protection, lipid peroxidation.
