Polycystic ovary syndrome in women with infertility, diagnostics of clinical-hormonal and new ultrasonographic criterias

In order to determine the diagnostic value of clinical, hormonal and new sonographiccriteriasof polycystic ovary syndromewere examined 165 women with infertility and iodine deficiency diseases.

Violation of menstrual cycle- by type oligo- and opsomenorrheaare detected in 41,2% of cases, the lack of luteal phase – in 14,5%, hyperpolymenorrhea – in 20.6% and chronic anovulation – in 23,6%. Polycystic ovary syndrome in women with infertility occurs on the background of thyroid disease among them were diagnosed hyperprolactinemia in 46.1% of cases, insulin resistance - in 41,8%, overweight (body mass index - 27,45±0,18) and obesity (body mass index - 32,82±0,52) – 70,9%, and also confirmed by a hereditary factor of the disease (35,2% of the cases), which indicates that poly etiology of the disease and diagnosis difficulties of abnormalities that leads to a violation in female reproductive system.
