IMMUNOMODULATORY EFFECT IN COMPLEX TREATMENT OF SEPTIC COMPLICATIONS OF DIABETES

The effectiveness of immune combined treatment of patients with septic complications (SC), diabetes mellitus (n=136) is assessed in this thesis. The results show the domestic production
medications «Timotsin» and «Timogar» have a positive effect on postoperative currency in patients with SC diabetes, reducing the duration of the first phase of inflammation and promoting
the emergence of healthy granulation, increase marginal epithelization wounds and force the healing process . In addition, these medications have an advantage over Timalin on the severity and duration of an immunomodulatory effect.
As a result of the optimized surgical combined therapy usingTimotsin and Timogar high rate of amputations has been reduced from 16,6% to 8,6% of cases and mortality rate - from 8,8% to
3,2%. Positive results from the use of Timotsin and Timogar were noted in 91,4% of patients. The average duration of treatment was 16,9±2,0 bed days.
