Impact of new technologies on the outcomes of fertility in Sugd region

Impact of new technologies on the outcomes of perinatal care in the Sugd region for period from 2012 to 2015 is analyzed in paper.

Assessment of the neonatal birth rate and mortality showed a significant improvement in the situation. Decrease in neonatal mortality, changes in structure of death causes under the influence of National standards in obstetrics, neonatology and regionalization of perinatal care are noted. Never-theless, the mortality rate among mature newborns is maintained at high rates, and not all obstetric institutions of the region in full managed by methods of neonatal resuscitation at birth.

It is necessary to resolve the issue of the young neonatologists training for a complete staff at obstetric institutions on secondary and tertiary levels, as well as to introduce a system of continuous education in the relevant National Standards for neonatal care. In addition for improving survival rate among very preterm infants need to solve the problem with the purchase of medicines needed for their survival.
