The work presents the experience of kidney transplantation from live related donors. Enlargement of the renal vein in the distal part due to additional veins (gonadal, suprarenal, lumbar vein and vein coming from the main trunk) is an effective and safe way of achieving adequate organ folding, which allows to optimize the conditions of the surgeon's operation when applying vascular anastomoses, avoiding thrombosis of the renal veins and creating optimal blood flow in the anatomical features of the recipient.
