Analysis of prescribing medications in chronic pyelonephritis from the perspective of evidence-based medicine
The results of the study the actual practices of prescribing in 50 individuals with chronic pyelonephritis, as well as an analysis of antibiotic therapy from the perspective of evidence-based medicine was presented. In the first group, the average number of drugs per patient was 4,0 ± 4,05, in the second - 7,1 ± 1,0; proportion of antibiotics - 58.0% and 38.4%, respectively. Duration of hospital stay was in the first group 10,2 ± 1,3 bed-days and in the second - 12,0 ± 0,9. Revealed polypragmasy not lead to achieving the desired clinical effect and reduces the duration of hospital stay of patients. For the rational use of medications in the practice of doctors improving their level of knowledge in evidencebased medicine is necessary.
