R.I. Soibov, Yu.A. Shokirov, Sh.Sh.Pochodjanova

The paper analyzes the results of clinical and functional diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias in 87 patients with different stages of chronic renal failure (CRF).

Various kinds of heart rhythm disturbance was found in 41 (47,1%) patients with chronic renal failure, including intraatrial conduction slowing observed in 13 (31,7%), atrio-ventricular – in 7 (17,0%), intraventricular conduction – in 9 (22,0%), violation of repolarization – in 12 (29,3%) patients. Extrasystolic arrhythmia was observed in 24 (58.5%) patients with cardiac arrhythmia, most often combined with sinus tachycardia, a violation of repolarization with the ECG signs of left ventricular hypertrophy. With increasing degree of renal failure increases the frequency and nature of cardiac arrhythmias. The authors point to the importance of timely diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmias in planning a conservative renal replacement therapy in patients with CRF not receiving dialysis.
