Inflammation of hypophysis in condition of immunodeficiencies in different types of death

In the article the results of study 267 acts of medicolegal examination of bodies died due to various causes, followed by immunodeficiency. Hypophysitis was marked in 16,9% of cases. Based on this study identified the following variations of inflammatory changes of pituitary gland: exudative inflammation, productive inflammation with separating to a specific granulomatous (tuberculosis and syphilis) and interstitial (HIV infection) types. In all 25 observations of death from HIV infection in the morphological picture is observed prevalence of necrosis of vessel walls and perivascular limfoid cellular aggregation with a mixture of single histiocytes in the shell of the pituitary gland and primarily in the posterior lobe. Study of the pituitary gland in some kinds of diseases is required clarify of tanatogenesis.
