This paper presents the study 103 patients with ischemic heart disease with negative results of stress echocardiography to determine the significance of the parameters of the ratio of pressure / volume (RPV) in predicting cardiac events.

The advantages of the parameters of RPV in comparison with changes in ejection fraction during stress, the predominant incidence of complications(71.8%) among patients diagnosed with abnormal (biphasic or downward) curve of the type of RPV compared to the normal (upward) - 4.7% cases. Sensitivity and specificity of stress echocardiography with exercise stress in determining the risk of cardiac events, depending on the type of curve RPV were 66.7% and 92.1% respectively.

Keywords: coronary heart disease, of course-systolic volume, end-diastolic volume, total ejection fraction, the ratio of the pressure/volume.
