The study involved 90 patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD), developed on the background of diabetic nephropathy (DN). The clinical and laboratory characteristics of anemiais shown and its relationship with the stages of CKD and markers of renal impairmentis established. Clinical manifestations of anemia were detected in 53 (58,9%) patients, Mild form of anemia by hemogramm was detected in 16 (17,8%) patients, moderate - in 31 (34,4%), severe anemia - in 34 (37,8%). Mild anemia (43,3%) more often was found in patients with moderate CKD stage at DN. In patients with severe CKD stage at DN mild anemia detected in a few cases (6,7%), while the frequency of moderate anemia (53,3%) and severe (40,0%) is significantly increased. At the stage of terminal chronic kidney failure increases the frequency of severe forms of anemia, reaching 63,3%, the moderate form is less common (33,3%), and very rarely - mild anemia (3,3%).

There is a relationship of frequency and severity of anemia with the value of the glomerular filtration rate (GFR), serum creatinine, and clinical signs of renal impairment.

Keywords: chronic kidney disease, diabetic nephropathy, anemia syndrome.
