Some epidemiological features of laryngeal papillomatosis at children in Tajikistan

The analysis of 100 case histories of hospitalized children with juvenile laryngeal papillomatosis (LP) aged 2 - 14 years was presented.

The patients have received a comprehensive treatment, including surgery, at postoperative time interferon inducers - Amixin and Cycloferon were used. Duringvirological study in 30% were identified human papillomavirus - types 6, in 25% - types 11 and in 15% - types 6 and 11. In immunological study reduced index of immune and imbalance of cellular immunity were noted. After treatment increasing of T-helper cells subpopulation is remarked.

The positive effect is achieved in 80% of cases, remission is observed in 65% of patients. It was also found the less age of patient, in which disease occurs, the malignant course of the disease (p <0.001). Among the patients were mainly rural residents (56%). Revealed an increasing of morbidity over the years deal to introduction of endoscopic diagnosis in practice. The conclusion about the necessity of prophylaxis measures aimed at preventing the occurrence and relapse of the disease.
