Current concepts of etiology and pathogenesis of chronic endometritis

According to recent sources of literature, there is a trend of increase in incidence of chronic endometritis, which is due to the widespread use of intrauterine devices, increasing the number of abortions, the use of different intrauterine manipulations, including endoscopic investigations.
Important role play the evolution of microbial factors of the immune, nervous, endocrine and other systems of the body, contributing to the development of oligosymptomatic and subclinical forms of inflammatory processes.
