The article presents the results of a comprehensive examination and treatment of 80 patients with chronic duodenal obstruction (CDO). The average age of patients was 43,1±3,6 years. Given the important role of intestine biocenosis in CDO, a study of intestinal dysbiosis severity in all patients was conducted.

The severity of dysbiosis has a direct relationship to the compensation stage of CDO that found during study. Patients with CDO dysbacteriosis in compensation stage I-III degree occurred in 58,4%, whereas in decompensated stage this index was equal to 93,8%. With the reduction of indicators of normal intestinal flora observed high titers of conditionally pathogenic flora, reaching from 1×107 to 1×109 zooid.

Evaluation of the sensitivity of colon enterobacteria to antimicrobial medications revealed a high sensitivity to Tetracycline in patients with CDO, which was 83,3% for patients in compensation stage and 87,5% – in decompensation one, sensitivity to Furazolidone – 87,5% and 81,2%, respectively.

Keywords: chronic duodenal obstruction, dysbacteriosis, intestinal microflora, bifidoflora and lactoflora.
